Brand's Latest Bags Also Available In Denim Canvas
FASHIONISTAS, rejoice! Coach, one of the international leading brands in handbags, has come up with a new line of handbags for spring, with emphasis on high quality crinkled patent leather, tumbled pebbled leather and denim canvas.
The brand, famous for its floral totes has come up with straw totes, perfect to complement your look in the spring mood.
Under the Bleecker Collection, the line features burnished accessories with a distinct vintage feel. Also in the same line is the Bleecker Denim Canvas Floral Tote, which is inspired by the feel of a leather shop from the 70's.
Unique: The Bleecker Denim Canvas Floral Large Tote
Still playing with straw material, for those who like to have one-of-a-kind item, there is the limited edition Bleecker Straw Millie XL Hobo that features Coach's iconic dog leash closure.
One of a kind: Bleecker Straw Millie XL Hobo Bag
The main highlight in the spring collection is leather, as used for Legacy Thompson Collection and Soho Collection.
The Legacy Thompson bag that comes in rich natural leather is adorned with a floral appliqué and accented with antique brass hardware.
Meanwhile, Soho Leather Satchel has detailed shoulder straps and buckles that give the bag a vintage feel. Clean lines and a relaxed look showcase the softness of the leather.
With brass hardware, the bag comes in rich white for this season.
It is clear that natural shades is the main colour for this season, as evident with the Ergo Collection, featuring Ergo Pleated Hobo and Ergo Pleated Tote. Both styles offer delicately pleated leather and come in a rich palette of natural, white, burnt orange and black.
Not to be subdued by the natural shades that are dominant this spring, Coach also has the Leather Madison Clutch from Madison Collection that gives a splash of standout colours such as fuchsia, teal, gold and black. The clutches are adorned with turn-lock closure.
To complete the spring look, also available is the Jewellery Collection. For this season, the collection expands to include elegant pieces in Resin and poured glass. Necklaces, rings, bangles and earrings are offered in combinations of white and gold.
The new Coach's Spring 2008 Collection will be available at all Coach stores nationwide in April.

Fendi F/W '08 |
Fendi never fails to WoW its audiences at every opportunity they get. With their expertise, great craftsmanship and longstanding in the fashion industry, they've gained recognition through their wonderful designs combined with only the finest materials - making them one of today's most wanted brands in the world.
If you've seen last year's Fall/Winter Fendi and are expecting to see more turkeys killed to put the show together, well, you'll be surprised. Because this is exactly what you'll not be seeing this time round. But there are no promises that there aren't hint of last year's leftover in the show. Take a look!

Shoulder bags will very much be in trend in the coming season. If you'd rather tote it around, easy! Just detach the long strap and you're ready to go. This particular design comes in winter colors i.e. blue and black. An item more for the older generation, I'd say. They'll be able to pull it off.
For the young adults, I strongly recommend the two items below. They're slim, stylish and fun. The first is more ethnic and casual while the second one classy and oh so furry. But it's definitely high maintenance since it's white. Gotta watch out for the stains.

Last but not least, there are the clutches. There's detailing on these pieces. Some pieces being wood and the rest, I'm not too sure what they are. Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, there's still a hint of what's left from the turkey from last year's Fall/Winter collection but much more toned down compared to last year's.

You can wear this bag in 3 ways - hold is as a Tote, as a Shoulder Bag or just latch on the removable adjustable strap and wear it cross-body. So there ya go, 3 looks for the price of 1!

Usually, I prefer the Blue Denim, but this bag somehow looks better in Black Denim. Personally, imho, to date, this is the best looking bag from the Monogram Denim Collection (but of course not the Denim Cruise Collection - now that I absolutely love! The stripes with the stamped LV Trunks and Bags logo is just To die for!) Too bad the Denim Cruise is a seasonal collection...ah wells.

Presenting: New Collections -- Louis Vuitton Monogram Denim Patchwork Collection |
Todays Featurette from Louis Vuitton's 'Show Spring 2007' Collections, is the Monogram Denim Patchwork Collection, a new range to add to LV's two existing Denim Lines, the Monogram Denim and the Denim Cruise (stamped with LV's 'Trunks and Bags' Logo).
All the bags from the Monogram Denim Patchwork Collection is made from a patchwork of 10 different denim pieces to create a supposedly modern and trendy (?) deconstructed look. Here are 2 pieces from the new Monogram Denim Patchwork Collection - The Monogram Denim Patchwork Speedy 30 and the Monogram Denim Patchwork 'Posty'

Detail closeup of Speedy 30
Louis Vuitton's iconic 'Speedy' goes deconstructed, and with an additional 2 side pockets. The Monogram Denim Patchwork 'Speedy' only comes in one colour (Grey Denim) and one size only - the Speedy 30, and retails for $1,350 Euros
Monogram Denim Patchwork 'Posty'
Detail Closeup - 'Posty'
The 'Posty' has a detachable wide strap, also made of Monogram Denim Canvas Patchwork, should you want the option of carrying the bag as a Messenger Bag instead of carrying it on the shoulder. The 'Posty' Retails for $1,250 Euros .
Well, I don't know about you my fellow BagAddicts, but Bagaholic Babe still stands by what she said when she featured this Monogram Denim Patchwork Collection in her Spring/Summer 2007 Fashion Week Review last year. In short, Bagaholic Babe thinks that it looks as if all the bags got lost on the way to the S/S showing and Marc Jacobs had not choice but to cut up the bags and piece it together into one bag so that LV'll have something to show on the runway.

Prada Denim Shoulder Bag |
Does the bag you carry for the day depend on the outfit you're wearing? If you're wearing jeans, you'd normally find a bag that matches your top wouldn't you? But how about a bag that matches your jeans rather than your top? That way, no matter what top you put on, it'll definitely go! I've always been on the lookout for bags made of denim but have never found any I fancy - well, except maybe the denim line by LV. If you're not a monogram person but would like to own a piece made of denim, then you'll have to consider this one.
Prada Logo Jacquard Shoulder Bag
This Prada bag is of denim material and is trimmed all round with antique brown leather. It also has a jacquard Prada logo on the front and comes with wraparound zip top with a lock. The bag comes with an ID tag and key pouch which is detachable.
The Prada Logo Jacquard Shoulder Bag is available from Neiman Marcus Online for $1,775.00

Fendi's Spring-Summer Collection 2007 |
Fendi's Spring-Summer Collection for 2007 has been unveiled!
You can start Pre-Ordering these bags now, from Saks Fifth Avenue .
Here's a glimpse of what's in store for Fendi's Spring/Summer Collection 2007.
Fendi Denim Spy Bag
Ahhhh one of the most coveted 'It' bags since it was introduced. Since its introduction in 2005, the 'Spy' range has been seen in many different textures and fabrics -- Fendi's Signature Zucca Jacquard fabric, in Metallics such as Gold, pebbled leather, embroidered, beaded, sequinned, exotic skins such as Python, Denim, etc. So, if you haven't yet got a chance to get your hands on a 'Spy', now's the time to do so! And, it's Denim, which means it's less costly!! ;)
And..Here's a variation of yet another iconic range of bags from Fendi -- the hobo 'B' bag is the newest addition to the 'B' Bag family!
Fendi Zucca Hobo bag with 'B' Buckle detail
Fendi Hobo bag with 'B' Buckle detail in Pebbled Leather
Fendi Canvas 'B' Bag in Brown
With its double 'B' buckles, This is perhaps the most familiar style and design of the 'B' bag. The bag featured above is made of textured fabric, with leather piping and straw accents on the 'B' Buckles for that ethnic, tribal feel.
Designed by Fendi's Artistic/Creative Director, Karl Lagerfeld, Fendi's 'B' Bag range needs no introduction at all! With its 'B' Buckle, Fendi has found itself yet another winner as all 'B' bags (whether with a single 'B' buckle or double 'B' buckles) have been immortalised as 'It' Bags since its introduction!
First the 'Spy' and now the 'B' Bags. Karl Lagerfeld certainly has a knack for creating trends, don't you think?!
As the saying goes, Fashion follows trends, but GREAT fashion creates trends!
Hurry, Pre-order your Fendi today!

LV Denim Spring/Summer '07 |

Photos from style.com
The Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2007 line has been unveiled! And I have to say that I'm VERY disappointed with you Marc (Jacobs)! As the Creative/Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton, where has your creativity disappeared to, Marc? It seems as if his creative juices have dried up. As seen above, the Spring/Summer '07 denim designs are soooooo W-R-O-N-G!!
My oh My! Marc, oh Marc, I think there seems to be a slight error in judgment this time around. It looks as if Marc was going for the 'Deconstructed' avant-garde look, but had taken it wayyyyyyy too far... Sorry Marc, what went wrong this time around? You're always spot on. But with this collection, you really hit it out of the ballpark.
In my humble opinion, this Louis Vuitton Spring-Summer 2007 collection looks as if all the bags got lost on the way to the runway show for Fashion Week... and because the collection was irretrievable, Marc had to cut up the existing Louis Vuitton denim range and sew the different bags together to make it into A bag so that they'd at least have something to showcase on the runway instead of nothing at all! I guess it's highly possible as all the material looks ripped( yes, i know that it's intentional but it certainly doesn't look that way though!), the placement of the push-lock closures that Marc has practically patented don't seem to serve any purpose at all! Same goes with the long leather straps attached to the bag! Oh and what's with the light and dark shades? If you were aiming for ombre, that's NOT the way to go!! And I guess you WERE aiming for that textured look... but....it really doesn't look textured at all!
Oh one more thing!!! One of the bags say LVOE on it and yes, it's a common and recurring theme seen on some bags for LV's Spring Summer '07 collection.... Well duh, it's Love, but... with this particular denim bag, it certainly ain't LOVE! It's distasteful!!!
Whatever happened to understated elegance, something that LV has always been known for??
Sorry to trash you like this. I love you and always have, but...My darling Marc, sometimes, LESS IS DEFINITELY MORE!!!
