Zac Posen F/W '08

We've come to the end of review of the Fall/Winter '08 collection. Just yesterday, we published a post on a stunning line of Versace. But what have we for today? Unfortunately, I must say, it's a pity there was only one picture to be found for our Zac Posen today.

Nonetheless, it'd be great to share with you Bagfetish readers what this young designer that's so loved by Hollywood for his fresh,creative designs supported by his amazing couture-like craftsmanship is up to.

For a designer that's well-known for his daring, sexy, revealing garments, well, what you're gonna see with the bag is absolutely different. Take a look..


A framed yet simple shoulder bag with chain and leather straps. The signature hexagonal lock opens up at the top. You'll find the bag quite roomy as it has a large base for more storage space.

Zac Posen Bo Small Shoulder Bag

Check out Zac Posen's latest 'Bo' bag! It comes in textural grained leather - with its tonal patent leather trim in honey and its contrasting grained leather trim in slate. One of his more colorful pieces, the 'Bo' bag is pleated on the front with contrasting round metal studs throughout the bag. The leather shoulder strap is rolled while the flap top has a handle-like detail - with a hidden magnetic closure. As always, the bag is lined with only the finest - a sumptuous suede lining.

Splurge of the Week!

Featured on this week's Splurge of the Week is a Zac Posen 'Olivia' Woven Drawstring bag. I will be honest and say that there are many bags which I feel are splurges but never worth the money - partly because it just simply wasn't my kinda thing.

This, however, is totally different. With it's pebbled leather design that is accented with vibrant colored panels of contrasting woven suede, Zac Posen has chosen gold hardware, gusset details and leather tassle ornaments (which is what I particularly like about it) as its complement. The bag comes with double top handles wink chain link details, drawstring closure as well as pockets for all your gadgets.

A definite must buy! It goes well with just about anything. Even when you woke up on the wrong side of bed and you're not in the mood to dress up, it'll still make u look good for the day, lol!

As with the other of Posen's creations, none of his bags lack the signature hexagonal rings. However, the rings are placed on different areas with each bag and on this one, it appears as a link between the bag and the rolled handles. Not forgetting the logo-etched hexagonal ring pull that is used as with the golden zip closure. The bag is made from grained leather with contrasting grained leather trims, aged golden brass hardware and is lined in suede. The pocket on the front is adds character to the bag while giving us girls extra room to store our necessities. Very nice =)

For this week's splurge, we've got the Zac Posen Aurora Frame Bag. This young but talented designer's creation has achieved "It Bag" status and young starlet Rachel Bilson has been spotted carrying the Aurora for more than just one occasion - which is extremely rare!!

This lil darling is a framed bag made of textured grain leather with golden lock closure and Zac Posen's signature hexagonal ring that dangles at the front of the bag. The bag is lined in suede, has an interior logo plaque and protective metal feet. In short, the bag is of the finest quality - whether it's on the outside as well as the inside. No wonder the celebs are lovin' it!
