Lanvin takes elegance to new heights

Lanvin bags usually have that structured and boxy look. This bag, however, is the total opposite. Made of silk satin, with a chain and ribbon shoulder strap, this bag can definitely take you from a day to evening look. I actually saw this very bag in the store myself, and I must say that the picture doesn't really do the bag justice at all. Also, you might think that the chain straps might be a bit heavy on the shoulder. On the contrary, it really isn't as I actually had the opportunity to try this bag on at the store. However, If dusky pink (Sable) isn't really your colour, this elegant "Happy Ribbon Sac" is also available in Black.

Bagaholic Babe just loves the pleated detail on the flap. This bag is totally chic, elegant and sophisticated. Although I must say that the first thing that struck me when I saw that bag is that it looks a little like the Chanel 2.55, albeit much softer and less structured...

This Fendi 'To You' bag is unlike the usual bag. Made from bronze disc appliquéd woolen silk and the python 'Fendi' appliqué at the striped enamel plate, this bag has a zip top closure that comes with a python pull tag. Made of Silk, complete with lining and leather trims, it's Tres Chic! I want one!! Get this via Echo Design for just $128!! Definitely An expensive looking bag for a very inexpensive price!

Hermes Eco-Friendly Bag!

When we first blogged about Anya Hindmarch's "I'm Not a Plastic Bag" early this year, we also mentioned that Hermes has also gone green. For all you Hermes fans out there, here's a look at the new Eco-Friendly Bag by Hermes. Called the "Silky Pop" Bag because it's made from silk and leather, this bag is not a limited edition (unlike the "Plastic Bag"). The design and motifs on the "Silky Pop" come from Hermes's popular scarf prints from the brands archives. So, the prints that will be used on this "Silky Pop" bag will vary from season to season.




What's unique about this bag is that as shown in the picture above, this bag is foldable, making it easily stowed away be it when you travel, or etc. This bag is so creatively and cleverly designed that when you fold the bag, the attached leather base (with the zippers as shown in pic above) actually becomes the bag's carrying case (see the zippered leather square in the girl's hand shown above)! Also, because it's made of silk, it's incredibly light in weight! Limited Edition Pucci Collectible Handbag

"Fiochetti" print Silk Teill Handbag


To Celebrate Pucci's 60th Anniversary, Pucci has created 'Collectibles consisting of a very special capsule cllection of 4 iconic pieces from the brand's archives. Originally designed in mid 1960s, each piece has been reissued exclusively for the Spring/Summer 2007 season in a limited edition series. The collection includes 2 dresseds, a romper and a purse, all of which are identical to their archival counterpoints.

This particular design recalls the shape of a jewellery box, sturdy and structured on the outside with enough room to store one's essentials. The purse features the elegant "Fiochetti" print in silk twill on its exterior and luxurious gold leather lining.

Newsflash: Gucci creates Limited Edition Bags for HK Store Opening

To celebrate Gucci's Landmark Store Opening in Hong Kong (the largest Gucci store to date in the Asia Pacific Region), Gucci has come out with 85 Limited Edition Handbags (to mark Gucci's 85th Anniversary) called the Landmark Exclusive Collection. These Limited Edition Handbags are designed by Creative Director, Frida Giannini and comes in different combinations of colours and materials including precious croc, patchwork and silk 'GG' monogrammed logo velvet. The Landmark Exclusive Collection is only available at the Gucci Landmark Boutique, and the interior of each bag is adorned with a plaque that says "Landmark 2006". Ten sets of green "La Pelle Guccissima" mahjong sets were made of this occassion, and all were sold-out by the end of the ribbon-cutting cocktail party in the store.
