There are many bags that L.A.M.B. has produced but none has really appealed - except this one. The bowler bag is one of my favorites in terms of shape and the leather, it's just great.. oh btw, gold hardware on a bag adds a touch of class to it - definitely a plus! and best of all, the price is right! For a designer bag that comes in grained black leather and the padlock charm that dangles from the shoulder strap.. Simply darling!

Spotted: Paris Hilton Spotted with The Alma Miroir!

Just a while back, Paris Hilton was seen carrying the lovely Alma Miroir from Louis Vuitton's Winter 2006 collection. The bag looks absolutely fabulous with its metallic monogram and comes in only shades of silver and gold. The line also carries the Papillon and Speedy 30. The Alma is going for USD2100 while the papilon and speedy are USD1100 and USD1150 respectively. It's pricey, I know .. but so pretty, it's a must have!

'Tis the season to be Patent!

Patent, Patent, and MORE patent. Patent handbags seems to be everywhere! Patent leather, due to its high lustre, was a material that was reserved for Special Occasions' bags, Festive Season bags and Evening Bags. This trend has drastically, and is now used on day bags and casual bags like totes, shoulder bags and satchels. All the designers seem to be obsessed with Patent Leather at the moment, an abundance of which are being sent down the runway, whether it was last season or this season -- from the YSL 'Muse', Chloe's 'Betty' and Fendi's Filagree/Plexi 'B' Buckle Bag... to Jimmy Choo and even the Burberry Novacheck!! Patents are here to stay!

However, for our local Malaysian weather, Patent bags might not be a little tricky. Due to the heat, Patent bags may be caused to 'crease' and crack... and the turn-off is that you gotta keep them squeaky clean, otherwise your bag'll be covered in fingerprints!!

But they're so pretty and shiny that most of us Bag obsessed creatures are willing to be a little bit of a slave to the handbag, right? I admit that this applies to me. hehe. I don't really care about the disadvantages, especially when living in a country like Malaysia. I still LOVE patent bags! It's so glossy, how can anyone resist?

I happened to pop into Mango (MNG) sale yesterday, and I found the Bargain of the Week!. The leather Shoulder bag with push-lock detail featured above, is Prada inspired...although I'm not sure if they still make it in this design anymore as they had it a couple of seasons ago, in Beige, Brown and Black.

This Prada inspired bag from Mango is currently on sale and it's going for RM 159!!.

Prada Resort Collection for Spring/Summer 2007

Remember the ruched Prada Nappa Gauffre that was seen on celebs' such as Victoria Beckham, Madonna and Hilary Duff? (see below for photos). Many of us couldn't get our hands on them as they were waitlisted for the longest time, and along with all waitlisted bags, they came along with a hefty price tag. For Malaysians out there, the Nappa Gauffre is still avaliable in the Prada boutique at KLCC. However, they range from RM$8000+-RM$10,000+. So there's still an opportunity to grab em!

And for those of you who, for whatever reasons couldn't get the Nappa Gauffre from the Prada Fall Winter '06 collection featured in the photo above, you can get a more affordable version from Prada's latest Resort and Cruise Spring-Summer '07 collection. It launches in the middle of December at the Prada KLCC boutique.

It's made from Prada's signature rip-proff tessuto nylon (thus only weighing a fraction compared to that of the Nappa Gauffre from Fall/Winter '06) and comes in bright and pretty candy colours such as Fire engine Red, Midnight Blue, Canary Yellow, Tangerine, Dark Green, Fuschia and White -- all with ruched tessuto nylon. However, As can be seen from the photo above, it comes with woven leather handles and trimmings, and comes with an adjustable long strap so that one can sling it over the shoulder or wear it messenger-style. Or, if you prefer, you can tote it around on your arm. What more could one ask for?! *winks*

It is available in 3 different sizes - small, medium and large.
The small is perfect for evening use or clubbing - For convenience, just attach the long adjustable leather strap and you can start dancing the night away!) It measures 8 inches in length and 1.5inches in depth.
