Gucci Tribeca Shoulder Bag Medium $1,395.00

Looks familiar? Well, you must've seen it during our Fashion Week posts not too long ago. A vintage single strap Tribeca shoulder bag in Cartiglio cuir leather with heart tattoo print and Gucci crest detail (also in the shape of a heart). Well, what can I say? So not me!

The new Irina in white calf leather and gold tone hardware together with bead details on the strap, front flap closure and heart detail right on the front.

And the Babouska Hobo is back! And in a new color too - light sand leather. Interesting? Dull more like it!

Eww.. a light sand python with sand leather trim, brasstone hardware and horsebit detail.

Ahhhhhh! Finally, something that's... pleasant! Lol. And in white leather too - with light gold hardware. But I'd say there's too little gold hardware. This isn't the best white leather and gold hardware combo I've seen but I guess if you're a real Gucci supporter and you wanna select something that's wearable, well, I guess this'll have to do!

Beige/ebony GG plus with heart tattoo print with light goldtone hardware and D ring detail. Somehow, I just don't favor the tattoo print.


Gucci D Gold Tote Large $2,395.00

Horrid, horrid mint python push lock closure tote with Gucci script logo.



Gucci Pelham Tote Medium $1,495.00

Another failure with the Pelham light blue ash leather. Bad color, bad design. Need I say more?



Gucci Hysteria Clutch $1,250.00

Ouch! I've always liked the tortoise shell, on sunglasses, hair accessories and lots more but on bags? Hmmm.. I'd have to think about that! Not to mention, it's patent. And with a metal Gucci crest on it? Oh no! It's soooo wrong!


See what I mean? I'm a true blue Gucci fan, yet, I can tell you very honestly, I'm devastated by what I see this time round. Boo!

An AMAZING collection, wouldn't you agree? Lots of hardwork and dedication was required to bring about such a fine collection - even right down to the intricate details. Fabric treatments and handcrafted leathers were not overlooked as it was necessary to give you all the vibrant summery, earth tones you have today in this collection.

I personally recommend the half woven, half tarnished copper shopper hobo as well as the shopper as they're hot from the oven! I believe they look great with just about anything, they're roomy and not to mention, great arm candy as well! ;)

Marc Jacobs New Calfskin Suvi

A very unique yet pretty shoulder bag, the Sethi Stripes Suvi Bag is the new addition to the Marc Jacob collection.

Extremely soft in nature, the calfskin is the perfect choice for a chic look which accomodates loads of room in the bag as well. The bag comes with polished silver metal hardware, rolled leather handles and a flat leather shoulder strap for alternative use. The multicolored leather panel that comes down the front and back makes all the difference as it brightens up the back almost immediately. The front flap opens with the turn-lock to fine textile lining and an interior zipped pocket.

You might've noticed, at a glance, the bag is unusually long.. if compared to other shoulder bags. A roomy bag, nonetheless, with great looking folds near the handles but could it be a little difficult to reach for stuff when you need to? And also, I'm sure the bag looks great as a shoulder bag but I think it'd be even better as a messenger. What do you think? Not forgetting, I think the color (green) is different yet goes well with most outfits. How cool!

Louis Vuitton Limited Edition Jamais Bag in Ostrich Leather


Check out the splurge for this week - a limited edition LV Jamais in monogram watercolor.

A double handled tote in ostrich leather, the top comes with a flap that is secured with the LV padlock. A bag that's like no other, you'll find it's functional yet stylish. The artist, Richard Prince, specifically came up with the design to concide with his first major U.K. solo exhibition that'll take place this summer at the Serpentine Gallery in London. Not to mention, these limited bags are sold for a good cause. Part of the proceeds from its current retail value of 9,000 pounds, or about $17,800 at current exchange goes to the Serpentine.

Love It or Hate It: Dolce & Gabbana Runway Snakeskin North/South Bag

Dolce & Gabbana Runway Miss Pocket Patchwork Snakeskin North/South Bag

A very unusual piece I must say. However, it's an item only a handful of people will appreciated - those with an acquired taste. If you're liking things colorful, consider this.. A multicolored bag with genuine snakeskin patches and suede trimmings, the bag is definitely of top notch quality - with its buckled leather shoulder straps, flat snakeskin handles with logo-engraved link attachments. Not forgetting the polished silver metal hardware and the fine textile lining, you can be sure the $3,995.00 you will be paying towards owning this piece of gem is well worth the price.

However, I think I'll make a pass at it cause I don't think the bag's very me. As much as I like how it's a foldover bag with really exotic leather, I think the bag is a bit too much for me to handle. If it had come in lesser colors, I might consider. I think it would be a really good piece to own if you were a solid color person - not necessarily dull but for those who like to stick with plain color clothes, I think it'll go well with just about anything! What a wide range of beauty bag we'll have this coming season. They range from an assortment colors - the most common among all designers being pinks, greys and various shades of brown.

The designers seem to have an eye for detail this coming Fall - from Anna Sui's Embossed Clutch to Burberry's Corrugated Alligator Pleated 'Lowry' Bag right down to Valentino's Fango Rose Tote Bag.

Framed and structured bags are very in this season and exotic leather is still favored. We're looking at luxurious pieces like Tod's Alligator Took Bag and the Valextra Crocodile Prelude Bag, both, with gold hardware.

Of course, there are also colors like purple (Michael Kors Studio Top-Handle Bag), gold (Anna Sui's Embossed Leather Frame Bag and Diane von Furstenberg Abstracted Minaudiere) and my favorite among all - in blue - the Salvatore Ferragamo Tiered Mesh Fringe Frame Bag with Resin Barrel Closure which is absolutely fabulous.
