Presenting: Dior's Fall/Winter 2007 Collection

Finally, a rather decent looking collection by Dior in a sea of 'What were the designers thinking' creations. Yes, being a Fendi-holic, i still can't get over the 'dead turkey/dead bird' bag.

That Vintage Old World Charm Look from days gone by seems to be back, a trend that is somewhat consistent as observed during the designers' Fall/Winter Collection for 2007 at Fashion Week. Marc Jacobs did it, Dior is doing it too! And a brighter colours seem to be seeing the light of day this Fall/Winter 2007 - We saw it it Fendi's Collection yesterday, and we see it in Dior's Fall/Winter 2007 Collection as well! As you all know, yours truly is a fan of all things colourful, and so far, I think this is the best collection for the season. We all expected Galliano's wildly romantic designs to show up, but this one is the epitome of revamped Old World Charm that has been given a modern twist. Amidst all the fog and gloom that winter brings with it, colours certainly brighten up the atmosphere!

Oh and in case you haven't noticed, all the bags that Dior showed during Fashion Week is a Frame bag in lovely hues of textured leather and detailing, be it a clutch, wristlet, tote or top handle bag.
