Yes, We all know that metallics are here to stay for 2007 as witnessed by the collections that designers have sent down the runway for their Spring/Summer 2007 collections BUT...

This time around, Jimmy Choo, known for his understated class and elegance, has outdone himself, and I don't mean that in a good way. Yes, I know that he no longer designs for the brand and has sold off all his shares but...the brand still bears his name... so yeah...With its silver-tone hardware and studded trimming, together with its silver-tone metal mesh with metallic silver leather trim, there's too much going on!!! The bag could do without the big studs I'd Say. Well yeah, with all those embellishments and details going on, perhaps they were trying to make the bag 'Value for Money'. I mean hey, after all it IS priced at a whopping US$3450 right?? WRONG!! With all the piled on details it's wayyyy too OVERDONE! And Instead of the bag having the 'Value for Money' factor, it came across (well, to Bagaholic Babe anyway) as "I wouldn't fork out $3450 for a bag that looks like this".

This is definitely one of those "Less is More incidents.
